Alex

Alex Preston Amos was born on Sunday May 24th, 2009 @ 4:10pm. He was delivered at Kasier Woodland Hills by Midwife Faydo. The labor and delivery were surprisingly easy for me! Eric took me to the hospital at 5 am and Alex arrived 11 hours later. Thanks to morphine and an epidural. Alex had a 'rough start' with the cord wrapped around his neck. He was in the NICU for 3 days, but got a clean bill of health and was released on Wednesday 5/27. (which happened to be our 3rd wedding anniversary --- what a present!!)

The last week has flown by. We're getting acquainted with the feedings, changings, and sleeping schedule. It's been a great week. Alex is so smart, so handsome, so sweet. He's already trying to lift his head. Well happy week old birthday Alex, here are some pictures of the newest member of our family. (enjoy)
