Bari's Baby Shower

My baby shower was last Sunday 3/22/09 @ the Calabasas Country Club, hosted by Eka & Aunt Shelley. I had a great time. I was overwhelmed with the thoughtfulness and generosity from my friends and family. I can't wait see little Alex Preston, only 8 weeks to go...

err heh, Just for clarification...

Since I was already asked once today no little Alex HAS NOT arrived yet.

Bari is due in just shy of 10 weeks if everything stays close to the scheduled date (but really do they ever?). I have a running joke with Bari about her punctuality. She is always early to any event or appointment and I expect no less from baby!

w00t! One more item knocked off the "Honey-Do" list!

So, I finally got a chance to setup a blog for our little branch of the family tree. 

Most people wouldn't consider this much of an accomplishment but with the recent changes at the office life has been a little hectic. As most of you know I recently had to let 2/3 of my staff go which put me in a pretty bad funk. So today is day 21 straight for me at the office and most of those days have been 14+ hour days. I was really sad to have to let go of some people that I have worked with for over 10 years. My heart goes out to them and their families.

I know setting up a blog is simple but after dealing with technology for too many hours a day it is kind of a low priority on my list. Bari did ask nicely if I would set it up so here we are. I'm really just happy that I get to check another item off of the honey-do list.
